I love how in pictures from the 90s or 80s women look so much more natural. Even if they wear the craziest make-up, or wear the most extravagant clothing they still look real, approachable and in my sense so beautiful and interesting. I really miss those kinds of pictures, because, even if photographers make “natural” portraits nowadays, they still look retouched, or have some super high quality to them that makes them look unnatural. And don’t worry, i realise that Uma is an outstandingly beautiful human being and i don’t take her as the norm for my theory, but the picture stresses it.
